Hi ChessKids! We are excited to announce the return of the Team Chess Battle on Chess.com! In this exciting event, teams of two will play against each other on one board. The team is allowed to communicate and agree on what move to play. This is a unique chance to learn from your favorite players by listening to each team's thought process. And the best part is that Team ChessKid will be participating.

IM Alice Lee will be repping Team ChessKid in Team Chess Battle 2!

 

The first match will take place on October 7 at 3PM EST, where special guests and familiar faces IM Alice Lee and FM FunMasterMike will team up to take on some of the most talented chess players in the world! They're looking to take the grand prize of $3,500, so be sure to tune in live at www.twitch.tv/chesskid and root for the ChessKid superstar duo. Their first match will be against WFM Anna Cramling and GM Pia Cramling.

 

The tournament will feature single elimination, two-game matches until the finals. In the finals, the last two teams remaining will play a best of four to determine the winner and who wins the cash prize!
