BoundingOwl In Her Crushing Days

Once upon a time, this ChessKid played chess!

I don't usually show you my games (have I ever?), but here is one I think is worthy. :)

I'm always harping on CDC, right? Center, develop, castle... Well, this game exemplifies what tactics can occur to completely destroy the king if you don't get all your pieces out!

At this point, we are both castled. That part of the opening is over. But who has more pieces developed?

The side that is more developed should attack quickly.

I go for one trade, but not two. I don't want his bishop to have the long diagonal open.

Oops! What should I do here? Why is ...f5 a mistake?

It's obvious, if you remember!

How to develop the bishop? Next, do I trade it? (Remember last week's article?)

Black's queenside is itching to play but relegated to time-out.

White is able to destroy Black completely now. Can you find my super-awesome tactic?

Black's queen is toast! :)

And, buh-bye! I hope you enjoyed a BoundingOwl (Coach Jessica) game!

And remember CDC and en passant please. :)
