ChessKid, Balkan Chess Federation Announce New Partnership

On the 1st of October 2022, during the annual Balkan Board meeting in Montenegro, a new partnership agreement between ChessKid and the Balkan Chess Federation was officially signed. ChessKid partnership and cooperation manager Anastasia Sorokina and ChessKid event manager Nadezhda Kravchuk attended the meeting.

 The Balkan Chess Federation and ChessKid seek to form a mutually beneficial partnership by using the safest online chess platform to attract additional chess players, coaches, and arbiters from among the Balkan Chess Federation's members to further develop the growth of chess and promote chess development for kids.


Under the terms of the agreement, all Balkan Chess Federation members (including Albania, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Kosovo, Moldova, and Turkey) will receive annual open access for all kids under 12 years old registered in each of the member federations, starting from January 2023.

In November 2022, ChessKid will organize a Zoom meeting for the representatives of all Balkan Chess Federation members to provide technical and educational support. In January 2023, the partnership will enter in full force as the agreement's obligations are implemented.
