ChessKid Monthly Championship Returns!

THE CHESSKID MONTHLY CHAMPIONSHIP WILL NOT RUN IN FEBRUARY 2024 DUE TO THE CHESSKID NATIONAL FESTIVAL TAKING PLACE. THE MONTHLY CHAMPIONSHIP WILL RESUME IN MARCH! SEE YOU THEN!!

The ChessKid Monthly Championship, the premier monthly event on ChessKid, is returning for 2024! Each month, we'll have two editions of the Monthly Championships--an Early Edition and a Later Edition. The ChessKid Monthly Championship will take play each month on the first Tuesday of the month.

Our monthly event will take place on the first Tuesday of every month and you'll want to make sure you're a part of the ChessKid Official Club to join! Each month, there will be two scheduled matches to allow ChessKids from all over the world to compete. An early match will take place at 3 pm CET/7:30 pm India/1 am Sydney. The later match will take place at 3:30 pm PT/6:30 pm ET.

A reminder to ChessKids that this tournament will be checked very closely for fair play. If you are found to have violated our fair play, you will have your account closed and you will not be allowed back on the site. We expect all children to play honestly and with sportsmanship.

ChessKids that are able to stay awake ARE allowed to play in both if they are able.

The top four players of each qualifier will go on to play in a Monthly Finals match with the winner of that much going on to face off in the ChessKid All-Star Finals later in December. All players must be no older than 14 years of age as of Jan 1st, 2024 (Players that turn 15 in 2024 are permitted to participate). All of our ChessKid Monthly Champions will get a chance to compete in a special end-of-year event All-Star Finals in December and be crowned the ChessKid Champion of the Year!
