Join ChessKid in Mamaia, Romania, for the World Youth Championship!
ChessKid is thrilled to announce that we are going to be present at the World Youth U14, U16, U18 Championship 2022! The event will take place between September 5-17 in Mamaia, Romania.
ChessKid will have a front-row spot to meet all the participating teams and event attendees at our booth, thanks to the generous invite from the Romanian Chess Federation. None other than FunMasterMike himself is going to join us too!
Make sure you stop by to solve some puzzles and find out how ChessKid can help your school or club become even better at chess.
On September 10, ChessKid and the Romanian Chess Federation are hosting a very special over-the-board tournament: The Mamaia ChessKid Blitz Championship.
The tournament will take place just before the actual World Championship, and to make the event even more special, all ChessKids participating in the Blitz tournament will get to play on the actual boards the future World Youth Championship participants will use in the afternoon!
Exciting prizes are awaiting the top three boys and girls in each category. The tournament will be streamed live on ChessKid's Twitch featuring Andrada Popa, the official commentator of the World Youth Championship.
