Can you mate with bishop and knight?
How about queen versus rook?
Can you hold the draw with rook+bishop vs. rook (this one is actually really hard!)?

There's one major idea to know: If you are the side with the bishop, you can draw if you take your king to the opposite-color corner as you bishop!

However, in the game, my opponent didn't know this, and went for the "same color" corner as his bishop. While that seems right, we now know it is not.
