This week's "FunMasterMike's Most Fun Moment" comes in my first-ever game at the World Open.
Who plays at the World Open? People from all over the world! It's a huge tournament with tons of grandmasters.
I had just become a chess master a few weeks prior, so I had to play in the top section. I forgot my opening lines and in the very first round I was down a pawn the whole game.
But remember, when you're behind, don't trade. Even though my pieces got bottled up, I left enough on the board for a miracle comeback. Can you find it, too?
How important was this game? FunMasterMike went on to win a big cash prize, which I used to buy my first car!
