This may be the craziest game FunMasterMike has ever played!
Against one of the best attackers of all time, IM Emory Tate, I let him sacrifice a piece and a few pawns, then castle on opposite sides. That wasn't a good idea on my part!
Emory got every piece in the attack, but when he missed a tactic based on about three different pins, I leapt at the chance to launch a counter-attack.
With my king wide open and down material, watch how my queen and two bishops are able to form such a powerful battering ram that I escaped with a draw!
To see more battering rams with queens and bishops, check out the three-part series by GM Simon Williams!
See you next Wednesday for "FunMasterMike's Most Fun Moments!"
