Help ChessKid Make History!

[Update -- we had a new record Tuesday, December 1 -- 309 logged in simultaneously!]

Want to be a part of history AND help ChessKid break some records? Of course you do! (And why not make it a Fast Chess Party like this school does?)

We're trying to get as many kids as possible playing in Fast Chess at the same time. Right now the record is about 200, but with your help we want to get to 500, 600, maybe even 1,000?

Our plan is so simple and so fun: The first Tuesday of every month at 7 p.m. Eastern (6 p.m. Central, 5 p.m. Mountain, 4 p.m. Pacific) will be the official "ChessKid National Fast Chess Hour."

We want everyone logging in and going into Fast Chess to play some games. Yes, you can play for longer than an hour if you want!

We're looking for a few (hundred) ChessKids!

You don't have to join any club or prepare at all. Just come play a few games and we'll all celebrate when we reach new records. You can play other people in your "friends" list or play random ChessKids by clicking on the orange "New Game" button.

I wonder if our "New Game" button is ready for all the clicking??

That's not all -- ChessKid royalty like PoppaBear, FunMasterMike and other famous video authors will be playing too. Maybe you'll get a chance to play them!

These numbers are going to go through the roof on Tuesday, August 4, but only if you help!

Remember, once you're matched up, it's bad sportsmanship to not play the game. If we get reports that you are not playing who you're matched with, we may have to close your account.

Even though the times are generally better for our North American ChessKids, everyone is invited to play in the ChessKid National Fast Chess Hour. It will be midnight in London, but it's the summer! For our New Zealand friends, the event will be at 11 a.m. your time, Wednesday morning!

Here's the schedule of ChessKid National Fast Chess Hours for the rest of 2015:

See you all online soon, and thanks for helping us break some records.

Why not go into Fast Chess now and warm up before the big event!?
