How To: Join ChessKid to Set a World Record!

ChessKid.com is attempting to set a world record for the largest online chess tournament in history. To make this happen, we've teamed up with GM Judit Polgar, the strongest female player of all time!

I am a teacher/coach. How do my kids join ChessKid?

It's easy! ChessKid staff will create free ChessKid accounts for all of your kids. All kids with a ChessKid username are eligible and invited to compete, both basic and gold members.

And, we'll even create an account for you so that you can follow your kids' progress!

I'm interested! How do I get started?

Send an email to [email protected] to get started! You'll receive a form to fill out with the following information for your kids:

How many kids can I sign up?

There is no limit. Whether you have 10 kids or 10,000, we will create accounts for all of them!

How will my kids know what their login information is?

After your kid accounts are created, you'll receive an email with Login Cards for all of your kids. The printable handout will contain your kids' name, username, and password that you can distribute during your class or club.

How do my kids participate in the largest online chess tournament in history?

Kids can participate in one or more of the open qualifiers from September 1, 2019 to October 5, 2019.

There will be four last-chance "Super-Qualifiers" on the day of Polgar's Global Chess Festival, which is October 12, 2019.

All kids qualifying from one of these 144 qualifiers will then play a final on October 19, 2019 at 8am Pacific U.S. time.
