Judit Polgar Comes to ChessKid.com!
ChessKid.com has started an exciting new partnership with Judit Polgar, the #1 female chess player of all time! Judit was taught chess from an early age by her father along with her two older sisters, and became a Grandmaster at just 15 years old! Today, a mother herself, Judit is furthering chess education for children; in fact, she is now pioneering a chess curriculum to be introduced into Hungarian schools. She has also released a new chess app just for kids and a new book describing her early chess career. (You can learn more about these below!)

Judit Polgar's New Book
.
In December, 1991, Judit achieved the most prestigious chess title, International Grandmaster, after winning the Hungarian National Championship. At 15 years and 5 months old, this made her the youngest player in history to earn the Grandmaster title, beating Bobby Fischer's record by one month. Judit's new book,
How I Beat Fischer's Record, is a personal account of her early chess career. The book looks back on many of her amazing games and gives unique insight into the mind of a young chess prodigy!
