Computer Analysis Updates!

Hey ChessKids and Parents/Coaches,

Liam recently wrote a great article about how to use our Analysis Board here.

We've added even more great analysis tools recently.  Now, kids can analyze their own games!  And parents/coaches can quickly analyze their kids' games, too!

Kids

1.  GO TO YOUR GAME HISTORY

You can do that by clicking on your ChessKid avatar or selecting PLAY on the left navigation.

2.  CLICK ON THE MAGNIFYING GLASS

3.  ANALYZE YOUR GAMES

You'll see all of your great moves as well as any big mistakes you might have made.  Try to learn from your mistakes!  :)

Parents & Coaches

1.  Click on MY KIDS

2.  Select a kids whose games you want to analyze and then click on either the fast chess or slow chess icon.

3.  Click on the magnifying glass and analyze the game by yourself, or together with your kid!

Advice

To really get the most out of Analysis, make sure you pay attention to your good moves AND your bad moves.

Don't just emphasize one over the other!  Try to remember why your moves were good and repeat those types of moves in the future.  Try and see why your bad moves were bad, and avoid making those mistakes.

Good luck!
