Tani is a Chess Master

If you've been keeping up with ChessKid's rising stars, you know the boy called Tani. A Nigerian refugee, he won the New York State K-3 Championship while in a homeless shelter. Since then, he's become a published author. He recently won yet another championship -- and now he's officially a 10-year-old National Chess Master!

Tani is a regular here at ChessKid. He was a qualifier for the 2020 ChessKid Youth Speed Chess Championship. Here he is discussing his game versus Hikaru Nakamura. Over here is Tani playing a mini-match against another ChessKid star, CM Shreyas Royal. He even played a competitive match against FunMasterMike in a series titled "The Old Man and the Tani!"
