Tournaments Come To iOS!

Big news ChessKids! You’ve asked and we listened. The new and improved ChessKid iOS app (fo iPads and iPhones) now allows live tournaments! In addition, the new version of the app has 4.7/5 in reviews.

Android users, we are sorry. The same features is coming one day. Until the Android app receives an update you will need to go through a web browser to join tournaments.

How to Join

The first thing you will notice is the app has the handy bar at the bottom that reads: "Play, Puzzles, Tourneys, Lessons, and Videos."

To join your clubs tournaments click the center "Tourneys" button. Doing so will bring you to the image below.

When the 30 minute registration window opens, click the tournament you would like to play in and click the orange join button. 

Just like on a browser you can see the standings, chat with your opponents, or look at the other games!

One pro-tip: Try not to close down the app while in the middle of the tournament, just to make sure you are not removed.
