Show 3 of the popular Your Games Analyzed program occurred earlier this month, and there were more entries than ever. FunMasterMike had about 70 games to review and narrowed them down to four! Were you one of the lucky few who got his game reviewed? Even if you weren't, you can learn a lot as he discusses different openings and pawn structures. Watch and see some of the mistakes that ChessKids make so you can pounce when your opponent make them!
In the second part of FunMasterMike's show, you'll see two more games played by ChessKids. You'll also see his first-ever "Endgame of the Week" in which you'll learn basic kind and pawn, as well as rook and pawn, techniques.
I bet your coach told you that castling was a defensive move to get your king safe. Not so! In this amazing king hunt featured on the MusicCityMaster's ChessKid TV show, you'll see that once in a lifetime, you can give checkmate by castling! Watch and see this real, yet unreal game!
The MusicCityMaster leads off with The Beatles, then continues with something just as classic: Kasparov-Topalov 1999. This double-rook sacrifice by the World Champion is probably his greatest single game ever played. The Black king reaches the first rank, but even then it takes all of Kasparov's tactical skills to finish off the game. Watch, admire, and enjoy!
Edition two of "Your Games Analyzed" with FunMasterMike! This is the archive of the show where ChessKids submit their games for live review on ChessKid TV. Look for the live show every other Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. Eastern U.S. time. As always, the best and most instructive games are chosen, as well as the tactic of the week. Watch and see if your games were chosen.
Trick or treat? We chose treat! On this Halloween, we bring you the ever-creative MusicCityMaster's spooky music-chess mashup. Or should we say, his "Monster Mashup!" Watch and see the Frankenstein-Dracula version of the Vienna. He's not making this up - that's the real name of the opening. Which monster would you rather be? A man-made seven-foot tall monster or a fanged vampire in a long black coat? Or maybe you're dressing as a grandmaster for Halloween!
Worldwide broadcast television premier! FunMasterMike takes the games submitted by ChessKid members, picks out the best and shows you are the instructive and exciting moments! If you missed his show from October 2, 2013, catch Part 1 here!
