2021 World Youth Mind Sports Fair

Want to play in a large international tournament? Sure you do! Coming up soon, the Korea Chess Federation will host the 2021 Online World Youth Mind Sports Fair! This is a collection of international Mind Sports events for world youths and includes Chess, Baduk (Go), Mental Arithmetic, Puzzle and Sudoku.

 

Due to COVID-19 over-the-board events have become impossible, thus 2021 edition will be staged through online platforms. ChessKid is proud that all of the chess will be played on our platform!

In case you didn't know, ChessKid is translated into Korean and has many videos dubbed into Korean as well. But of course you can compete with your "settings" on any language. Chess is international!

Schedule


* Opening Ceremony: Sat 14th Aug 2021
* Preliminaries: Sat 14th - Thu 18th Aug 2021
* Finals: Sat 21st - Sun 22nd Aug 2021

* Closing Ceremony: Sat 28th Aug 2021

 

Format 



* 10min + 2sec per player, 5-round Swiss
※ If a section has fewer than 8 participants it may be merged with another age group
※ Sections may be adjusted depending on the entries.
※ Number of rounds may be adjusted depending on the actual number of participants
* Participation: Born on 1st Jan 1998 or later, must have a FIDE ID
- U8, G8, U10, G10, U12, G12, U18, G18, U23, G23
- Orientation & test match schedule will be announced later
