FunMasterMike Gets Very Lucky!

Sometimes, you just get lucky. For this week's FunMasterMike article, there's really no better explanation than that.

In the opening round of a tournament, I was playing a very promising junior player who went on to win some national titles and become an FM like me.

I played very strange chess and was lucky to only be down a pawn in the ending.

If there's anything to be learned from this game it's that you should NEVER let your guard down when you're ahead, and when you're behind, you have to convince yourself you'll have at least one chance to make a comeback.

It won't always happen, but if you don't look for once-in-a-lifetime chances, then who will!?

Need some tips on how to make a comeback? Check out my video on "What To Do When You're Losing" and also this video on the "Comeback King" of ChessKid!
