ChessKid Grants for 100 North Carolina Schools

ChessKid.com is partnering with the Indermaur Chess Foundation to give 100 schools in North Carolina free ChessKid Gold accounts for all their students.

“We have 100 counties in North Carolina, so we would love to have a school in each county receive one of these grants! We have been using ChessKid for years in school chess programs, so we are excited to promote this opportunity and help distribute ChessKid to more North Carolina schools,” explained Mark Indermaur, President, Indermaur Chess Foundation.

“ChessKid wants to assist school systems by providing free Gold ChessKid accounts through a grant program for every student at your elementary school. Our goal is to introduce chess education to as many students as possible in the 2023-24 academic year and award grants to 100 public elementary schools in North Carolina,“ announced Ranae Bartlett, ChessKid Education Director.

The Indermaur Chess Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and U.S. Chess Federation Affiliate that helps parents, teachers, and volunteers start chess clubs in North Carolina schools, libraries, and community centers.
