Who is Sina Movahed?

Sina has burst onto the chess scene like a blazing comet, quickly becoming one of the fastest rising talents in the chess world. In 2024, at just 14 years old, he edged out fellow Iranian Grandmaster Alireza Firouzja to become Iran’s youngest grandmaster ever!

And he’s not just collecting titles, he’s collecting huge wins. Sina has already scored victories against some of the biggest names on the planet, including Magnus Carlsen, Gukesh Dommaraju, and Shakhriyar Mamedyarov.
