TrickyQueen Comes To ChessKid!

Next episode: Monday, February 15 at 6:30am Pacific/9:30am Eastern/2:30pm UK/3:30pm CET. Watch on Chess.com/TV!

ChessKid is excited to announce that a famous friend of Elsa is coming to ChessKid! That's right, TrickyQueen signed an exclusive contract and will be making her ChessKid debut on Wednesday, January 20 at 2:30pm Pacific/5:30pm Eastern!

She asked to be paid in hot chocolate and salted fish, and ChessKid obliged. Elsa told her about ChessKid and how much fun it is to play kids here.

You can watch "Trick the TrickyQueen" on all of the usual channels: www.chess.com/TV, twitch.tv/chesskid, or youtube.com/chesskidofficial.

If you want to be able to match against TrickyQueen, send her a friend request now. Like her co-host FunMasterMike, she will accept the request right away (she has one of those fancy new ChessKid watches where she can accept right away).

TrickyQueen

TrickyQueen comes to ChessKid on January 20 at 2:30pm Pacific/5:30pm Eastern.

Like her friend Elsa, TrickyQueen is a longtime chess player and grew up playing during the long winter months. We will let you guess where that was!

As you might think, she is particularly dangerous with her queen. She even helped FunMasterMike record his video on the incredibly complicated topic of Queen Endings. There's a legend that she once got 10 queens in a game, but FunMasterMike thinks this is just a story.

She also has some special powers. Some say she gets them from her dimples. Some say she's just a good student of the game. Once TrickyQueen lost a game and spent all winter in an ice cave analyzing what she could have done better!

There's also a video somewhere of TrickyQueen being able to grab all 16 white pieces with one hand and place them on the correct squares all at once! TrickyQueen owns many chess sets, and sometimes as an extra challenge she carves them out of ice and tries to checkmate before they melt.

She loves double checks but hates doubled pawns. Together with FunMasterMike, she's double-trouble.

Remember to send TrickyQueen a friend request and check the ChessKid events calendar to make sure you show up for her first show and future shows!
