On June 25th at 6am PT / 9am ET / 3pm CEST, join us to watch ChessKids from Region 6 (Portugal, Greece, Italy and Spain) battle it out on the board! The European Team Festival consists of tournaments across different regions, featuring a series of matches between ChessKids from different European countries.

During the 6th division of the festival, four countries will face off in two stages. Each country will field a team of four players from four different age groups (U8, U10, U12, and U14) and will be represented by two boys and two girls.
All four countries will play in a qualifier round to see who moves forward to the final. Matches will consist of two games for each player (one with white and one with black pieces). All games will be ten minutes, with a five-second increment.

The winners will receive free ChessKid Gold memberships for one year, and will go on to have the chance to compete against the top teams from other regions later this year. All participants will receive three-month ChessKid Gold memberships.
