Tani vs. The World Returns For Another Battle!

On March 11, 2:00 pm Pacific, FM Tani Adewumi will take on IM Kostya Kavutskiy in the next episode of 'Tani vs. The World!' This series of "training" matches will take you on Tani's journey to becoming the world's youngest GM one day.

In his first Tani vs. the World match, Tani kept it very close against another IM until the final few minutes. But he's improving every month, and now has much more experience playing against titled players thanks to several recent over-the-board events.

After earning his FIDE Master title last year, young chess prodigy, Tani Adewumi, is off to achieve his IM norms and bring home the Grandmaster title! With a FIDE rating of 2188, Tani will be playing a blitz match against a 2390 rated chess master & two-time IM norm holder, IM Kostya Kavutskiy.

Match Format:

• 60 mins of 5+1
• 45 mins of 3+1
• 30 mins of 1+1
